Living room, Bed in Aurora Premium - A Lifestyle Hotel
The staff on our arrival were lovely. They explained that there was an unforeseen issue and our room was unavailable. They moved us to a room in their sister hotel, Aurora Central, upgraded us to a beautiful room, everything was taken care of and we had a fantastic stay! This review will be based on our stay at Aurora Central. Breakfast in the roof top restaurant was plentiful and delicious, the staff in both hotels were friendly and welcoming, our room (with balcony) was large and the bed was really comfortable. The location in the centre of the Old Quarter was perfect. There is a spa which we did not have time to use but it looks nice.

A great location to access sightseeing spots, restaurants, shopping, 24 hours laundromat service within walking distance. The staff are very nice and friendly, I want to shout out for Zoe, she is very helpful & arrangements for a birthday surprise for my friend, do the booking restaurant & train street cafe as well. The breakfast on the top floor & skybar has a great view of Hanoi Old Quarter. One negative point was only 1 lift available for a 12 storey building, it is pretty inconvenient and waiting time may take quite a while. Some of us choose walking up & down the staircase.

We have been back to Aurora 3 times when we were touring North Vietnam. We were very happy there. In the mornings we were always greeted by the smiling Miss Van in the restaurant. She is quick to anticipate our needs and communicates well. Later in the day we see her at the reception area together with the lovely and helpful ladies Miss Moonie & Miss Heidi. Most of the staff are lovely. We even get fresh cut fruits in our room everytime we come back. It was very much appreciated. They really made us feel welcome and they attend to our every needs. Thank you everyone.

Aurora Premium Hotel is a fantastic choice—clean, stylish, and incredibly central, making it easy to explore the city. But what truly sets it apart is the team at reception. From Zoe, who went out of her way to find me a specific ginger tea I couldn’t find anywhere, to the manager, whose warm and heartfelt welcome and farewell made the stay feel special. I wish I remembered her name because she was exceptionally kind. The service here goes beyond professionalism—it’s personal, thoughtful, and truly memorable. Highly recommend!

Hotel is in the perfect location for the lake, puppet theatre and the red bridge. Restaurants, bars and shops etc all within a few yards. You can pickup a tourist bus just around the corner. The decor of the hotel is beautiful with brightly coloured chairs in the community areas. Fabulous staff who were attentive and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely breakfast with good choice of foods available in the buffet plus they offer eggs cooked to your request and a range of coffees. Wi-Fi was amazing!
